Home Care
This is a bespoke package tailored by you, You choose what care you want and need, what time you would like it so it fits in to your current routine. We provide high quality person centred care built around you. The home care services range from:
- Supporting with meal preparation so you can continue to prepare your meals with a little help from our carers or full meal preparation where our carers will prepare and serve meals of your choice. (These do not need to be ready meals as they can be freshly prepared and made if you choose).
- Personal Care supporting you to remain as independent as you can with washing and dressing to fully assisting you with your personal care in a respectful and dignified way.
- Medication this can be from reminding you to take your medication, ordering medication to fully administering your medication.
- Light household duties this can be from supporting you with putting your washing in, putting your washing on the line, doing dishes, hoovering, making the bed, cleaning, dusting to fully doing the chores hat you are finding difficult to do.
- Companionship to provide comfort for those who are feeling a bit lonely. This can involve supporting with your hobbies so you can continue to enjoy the things you love. Taking you to social clubs, going out for the day whether it be going to a garden centre, going out for meals, theatre, bingo. Doing things in your home for example, crafts, light gardening to quizzes.
Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
Dementia is a term for a range of diseases that effects the brain including Alzheimer's disease. Dementia is a progressive condition that gets gradually worse over time leading to decline in cognitive functions like memory, Language, problem solving and change in behaviour and moods. This not only effect the person but also has an impact on family. All our careers are Dementia trained and can support you and your loved ones. Our staff currently volunteer and support the dementia café at St Andrews Church in Roundhay.
We know that routine and the right communication methods are very important when caring for a loved one with Dementia, we ensure that our carers continue with the routine and support and assist them by providing specialist quality care so they can continue to live at home.
Transport To Appointments
We know that sometimes is gives you piece of mind that someone can accompany you to appointments to support and reassure you and most importantly you don't feel rushed. We provide transport service to appointments, these can be a visit to your hairdressing appointment, a hospital appointment or GP appointments.
Our experience staff will pick you up and take you in their car that is fully insured for business use and accompany to your appointments.
Emergency or Planned Respite Care
We understand that circumstances can change very quickly and emergency care may be needed at the drop of a hat. We are here and will will send you an experienced carer when you need it most
.
This can be after a surgical procedure or during a temporary illness We also understand that families may be the main carers but due to planned time away they need someone to step in whilst they are away and we offer just that with our planned respite care service, this can be done last minute or planed months in advance.
We will work closely with everyone involved in your care to tailor you package so you can have the reassurance that you are in good hands.
Night Care (waking nights & sleep in)
Feeling safe in your own home is very important when you want to continue to live independantly and remain at home. We offer that piece of mind with our night care services.
We offer waking nights, this is when a trained carer stays with you overnight and is there when you need them for example if you need to use the bathroom during the night but maybe a bit unsteady or you simply want the reassurance that someone is there in case you need any help.
We also offer sleep in nights, this is where a carer will stay overnight and be there for your piece of mind and you can be reassured that you are safe in your own home.
Live-in Care
This is when a carer will stay with you 24/7 and offer support and assistance round the clock so you can continue to live in the comfort of your own home.
Our carer will provide you with support and assistance with personal care, medication, meal preparation as well as companionship and take you out. Our carer will also support and make phone calls on your behalf to medical professionals and any other calls that you may require.
Live in care will give you the security that knowing that someone is there and maintaining your independence to live life the way you want.
